Winter Garden Edition
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and if you still don’t have an idea on what to get your sweetheart, we’re here to help. We’ve put together a Valentine’s Day gift-giving guide to help you find the perfect way to show your hunny that you care.
And single folks, don’t leave just yet. We’ve got some creative ideas for how to celebrate your singleness this Valentine’s Day too.
We aren’t going to tell you the best place in Winter Garden to get flowers, or where to pick up one of those heart-shaped chocolate boxes. Instead, we wanted to list some ideas for gifts that were creative, unique and didn’t require constant watering and sunlight.
Gifts For Men
Some men are easy. Every holiday and birthday you get him the same thing, and he loves it just as much each time. Maybe it’s car accessories, or tools, or a crate full of beef jerky and beer. If you know he loves it, go for it. Getting him something you know he loves shows that you listen to him and you know what makes him happy. (Even if you think gettin the same gift over and over is boring!) However, if he’s one of those guys who has everything or is difficult to buy for, consider giving him an experience this Valentine’s Day instead of a physical gift:
Winter Garden Food Tours
Schedule a Winter Garden food tour so you can go experience a few different restaurants in Downtown Winter Garden. This Valentine’s Day, they’re offering a His and Hers Speciality Food Tour, a 65 minute sit-down tour featuring beer and wine, chicken and donuts, Gelato, cheese and truffles! Can your Valentine’s Day get any more delicious?
Take A Bike Ride
Winter Garden Wheel Works is offering a special 2-for-1 special on bikes for Valentine’s Day. If your guy enjoys spending time outdoors, why not rent a few bikes, zip down the trail, and stop for a picnic lunch when you’re hungry?
Kayaking After Dark
Wait until the sun goes down and schedule a bio-luminescent kayaking tour for two. Glide through the water and be surrounded by light! Not quite Winter Garden, but pretty close!
Visit Local Breweries
Go brewery hopping, starting at The Crooked Can and visiting Sun Creek Brewery in Clermont and Dead Lizard Brewery. Just don’t forget to call an Uber!
Staycation On Plant Street
If you’ve never stayed at The Edgewater Hotel, Valentine’s Day (or the weekend after) would be a great time. Women have this unique way of making it very clear about what they want for Valentine’s Day without using any details about what they want for Valentine’s Day. Pay close attention when she makes comments like “Susie just went to this calligraphy workshop and she loved it!” She’s not just telling you a story, she’s subtly dropping hints about things she is interested in and would love to try. Lucky for you, Winter Garden has an abundance of gifts and experiences to show your lady that you’ve been listening.
