Understanding Horizon West
The Summerport, Summerlake, and Hamlin neighborhoods seem to transition effortlessly into one another. This road will allow them to bypass local traffic and congestion caused by pick up and drop off at Bridgewater Middle and get to the local toll road faster and more effectively.
Another middle school is also in the planning stages, a welcomed addition that will address overcrowding issues at Bridgewater Middle. Along with the brand new middle school, the Horizon West community will also see another outdoor space and playground for residents to enjoy. Horizon West Regional Park will be a 220-acre recreational area that runs parallel to Tiny Rd, and west of Bridgewater Middle. The park will provide more ball fields for residents, but the goal is to create a space where locals can enjoy running trails, public art and meeting spaces.
