Starting Small and Thinking Big
In those early days, I focused on creating a business that could truly serve clients at the highest level. The challenge was figuring out how to grow while keeping that personal touch.
Our breakthrough came when we started using Zillow Premier Agent. I began with just $250 a month in two zip codes. As we saw results, we reinvested, eventually increasing our budget to $30,000 a month and adding Zillow Showcase and real-time coaching. These tools gave us instant credibility in new markets and the ability to show sellers the real value we bring to every transaction.
Results We Are Proud Of
That strategy worked. We went from about 10 sales a year to more than 300, and from $4 million in annual sales to over $100 million. One lead even turned into 14 separate transactions, including eight purchases and the resale of each home with our team.
Through it all, we never lost sight of what matters most: treating every client like they are our only client.
