When we heard about the fresh new bar with a speakeasy vibe in Mount Dora, we had to check it out. Everything about the bar is refreshing from the charming downtown area where it’s situated to the boho vibe when you walk through the door all the way to the tasty drinks that they mix up.

The HandleBar is an ideal place to go out for drinks with friend or even host a small event. The space is neutral and fresh complimented well with the botanicals you’ll find throughout.

There are many options to choose from as far as enjoying a drink in Mount Dora entertainment district. One of the newest resident bars is the HandleBar. The HandleBar is a unique bar providing Mount Dora locals and visitors with a great space to catch up with family and friends and quality craft cocktails. Not to mention… they have some pretty sweet special throughout the week!

The airy ambiance of the bar provides a relaxing space where you can unwind after a long day. Inside there’s a full bar with a good number of seats giving you the option of pulling up right at the counter, making it convenient to keep em’ coming. Or there’s the option of a hightop that looks out into the entertainment district. Being that the bar is upstairs, it makes for a great scenic view. A lounge area is also an option, with a comfy couch and a couple side chairs.

The buildings in the entertainment district of Mount Dora are charming, many of them look like they are right out of a story book. This holds true to the  building in which the HandleBar is located. The building itself is so quaint it literally makes you want to go inside and discover what business is within.
