Popular Hangouts in Winter Garden – Plant Street (Downtown Winter Garden)
The Attic Door
While the Attic Door is known for its laid back happy hour atmosphere. It’s many local’s favorite place to relax on a Friday night. If you’re looking for a laid back Friday night, this is the spot! You’ll find a comfortable couch that’s perfect for munching on delicious appetizers! They also have live music, and an extensive wine list. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff make this a chill place to welcome the weekend.
The Crooked Can
Plant Street’s iconic brewery has earned a reputation for being one of the coolest hangouts in Winter Garden. Especially on a Friday night. On the weekends you’ll frequently find an event or activity happening. With live music, open green spaces, outdoor seating and a dozen local brews on tap, The Crooked Can is easily one of the most popular places to sit back and celebrate the fact that it’s Friday. Or Tuesday. Or any other day for that matter!
The Whole Enchilada
Are you looking for a festive experience? Head on over to The Whole Enchilada. It’s one of downtown Winter Garden’s newer additions. They have done a great job at combining the vibrant rooftop atmosphere with adult beverages and fresh Mexican food.
Did we mention how incredible their rooftop bar is? It’s like you’re over at the neighbors, hanging out back. So go on, grab your colleagues and get together after a busy day at the office. Or call your friends to mingle over margaritas.
Celebrate Taco Tuesday at The Whole Enchilada with two tacos, chips and salsa, and a beer for just about $8. (We should also mention $5 shots and $20 pitchers?) At night, the string lights come on, the music turns up, and you got one awesome hang out spot right in the heart of Winter Garden.
Market to Table
Market to Table is a favorite restaurant of the Erica Diaz Team. They feature exquisite cuisine, an impressive drink list, and a staff that knows and loves Winter Garden intimately. Market to Table is an upscale American restaurant in the heart of downtown Winter Garden. It’s menu is limited and changes frequently with the seasons. Each experience is a new one. Before you kick off your heels or toss your tie in the back seat, go in for a classy and sophisticated happy hour experience. Urban Flats
Wine, wine, wine. If you LOVE wine, Urban Flats is where it’s at! For a sophisticated, but casual place for wine and appetizers, there’s no better place on Plant Street than Urban Flats. Share a few flatbreads, sip on good wine, and let the worries of the week go. They are frequently featured as one of the spots on the popular Winter Garden Food Tour. Urban Flats is an ideal spot for a girls night out, birthday celebration, date night, or after-work get together.
Pilars
Pilars, located in the heart of Downtown Winter Garden, is a vibrant mix of martinis and music in an environment dedicated to the arts. Located right next to the Winter Garden Theater, Pilars features 30’s inspired art and decor. It gets really artsy on the nights they do open mic night. Let’s not forget the cocktails… They will knock your socks off.
The outdoor patio provides a great place to enjoy a few drinks with friends. It’s also one of the best people-watching spots in Winter Garden. Pilars prides itself on being playful, artsy, fun, and eclectic. If you’re looking for a good time on a Friday night, you’ll find it at Pilars.
MoonCricket
MoonCricket has been a staple on Plant Street for years, and for good reason. Evenings there consist of wings, an expansive beer selection, juicy burgers, and delicious flatbreads. Even their kids menu is great.
Built in 1912, the building oozes character and charm. You’ll find their outdoor, pet-friendly patio is one of the most popular weekend hangout spots on Plant Street. The Erica Diaz Team recommends their hot wings and peanut butter pie. But you’ll have to try a few things from the menu to find your own favorite.
Popular Hangouts in Winter Garden – Winter Garden Village
While Plant Street has its own unique vibe and downtown charm, we want to mention some of the popular Friday night hang out spots in Winter Garden Village. Plant Street may have the local, small town feel, but Winter Garden Village provides all of your favorite restaurants and shops in one spot. From downtown Winter Garden, you’re just 10 minutes from Chilis (did someone say 2-4-1 Margaritas?) and other nationally recognized restaurants and bars.
Bonefish
Bonefish has an ever-evolving menu, featuring seafood such as shrimp, scallops, and lobster roulade. This upscale restaurant is popular for work meetings, happy hours and date nights. The Art-Sea Martini is a fruity house favorite, and some Winter Garden locals go just for the Bang Bang Shrimp!
Aji Sushi
Aji Sushi consistently ranks as one of the most popular lunch and dinner spots in Winter Garden. For newbies to the sushi world, Aji features simple California rolls and a whole menu of non-sushi dishes. For those wanting to experiment a little, the Godzilla roll and Happy Mama roll are good options. Happy hour is from 4-6 and features drinks, appetizers, and rolls for $5.
Uno’s
If you can’t wait until the end of the work day. Head over to Uno’s for their 10 minute lunch special that runs until 3pm. Choose from a select lunch menu and get it within 10 minutes. Allowing you to get back to work quickly. Uno’s has shareable appetizers all day at the bar, and if you come for dinner, you may need some time flipping through their extensive menu! This is a popular after-work spot for professionals and families. Offering a relaxed atmosphere, any day of the week.
Red Robin
Happy hour at Red Robin means half priced apps and $2 domestic beers. Carb lovers can rejoice because of Red Robin’s bottomless fries option, and everyone will appreciate the huge burgers, and sweet dessert menu. And if you meet up with friends a little later, they have a late night happy hour that kicks off at 8pm.

Hawker’s Asian Street Fair
Happy hour at Hawker’s (located at the corner of Apopka Vineland and Conroy-Windermere) is from 3-6pm Monday through Friday. Featuring $3 small plates, craft cocktails and select beers and wines. Hawker’s specializes in small plates, so you can order a few and sample different things. The salads are delicious, the rice bowls come out steaming, and you’re just a short walk from Jeremiah’s Italian Ice for an after dinner treat!
Yellow Dog Eats
One of Ocoee’s most beloved spots, Yellow Dog Eats, combines a cool outdoor patio, eclectic indoor dining area, friendly bar service and great gourmet sandwiches. Happy hour is from 2-6pm during the week, and there is live music performances on select weekends. When you want an after hour spot that is away from the crowds, check this place out.
Rusteak
Popular for teachers, busy professionals, work from home parents and anyone else who loves wine. Rusteak is a favorite Friday night hang out spot just outside of Winter Garden. Happy hour is from 4-7pm offering: $5 wines by the glass, $5 draft beers and appetizers, and $6 speciality cocktails. Rusteak is small and cozy, so if you can grab a table, it is a great place to unwind and enjoy salads, burgers and comfort bowls.
