Pet Friendly
Load up your four legged friend the next time you head out to the Winter Garden Farmers Market! The market is not just a hot spot for people, pets love it too! Lucky for them the market is pet friendly. The market does require you to keep your furry friends on a leash and controlled. We know your pup will love all the booths that have treats for them! Oh, and don’t forget to bring your doggie bags to clean up after them!
Going Green
We only have one planet and the Winter Garden Farmers Market is doing their part to minimize their carbon footprint and reduce waste. The farmers market has discontinued the use of plastic bags, plastic cups, plastic utensils, and other single use items. Don’t worry, there will be biodegradable options that replace all of the past plastic options.
We highly suggest bringing your own reusable bags, totes or carts to use at the market. However, in the event you forget, biodegradable options will be provided by vendors. There are also reusable bags available for purchase throughout the market. And if you swing by the hospitality tent under the pavilion, you’ll be able to grab a reusable bag or some boxes there.
As for your trash, please make sure to throw it away. There are trash cans throughout the market and many vendors have them at their booths too. If you have recyclable items such as glass, plastic bottles, or cans please put them in the recycling bends placed throughout the market.
Winter Garden Farmers Market Vendors
The Winter Garden Farmers Market would not be the go-to market if it was not for the vendors. The market has really made a name for itself through Central Florida. Vendors from all over Central Florida travel here weekly as set up shop. There is such a great line up every week and while there may be some similar items available my multiple vendors, they are all 100% unique.
Another thing about the market’s vendors we love, is they are so nice! It’s easy to start up a conversation as you’re looking at what they have to offer. Many of them have special stories behind what they make and bring to the market, and if you’re lucky, they just might enlighten you.
The Farmacy
The Farmacy is all the rave at the Winter Garden Farmers Market. It’s an adorable little grocery store that supplies locally grown and organic produce, grass fed meats, farm fresh eggs, local raw honey, and more! They make it incredibly easy for you to shop local and organic. So easy, in fact you can place an order online through their website and it will be ready for you to grab during the farmers market.
Allison’s Apiaries Honey
While you’re exploring the marker don’t buzz on by the local honey vendor! Allison’s Apiaries Honey is a locally family owned honey farm. Are you dealing with daunting Florida allergies? Local honey is suggested to help improve pesky allergies. This honey is so sweet that there’s no harm in giving it a try. There are also other products that come from honeycomb available too!
Mr. And Mrs. Pickle
Another favorite at the market is Mr. And Mrs. Pickle. There’s typically a long line of people waiting to satisfy their taste buds with these fresh gourmet pickles, hand stuffed olives, and other pickled items. Grab one to eat right then and there or make a larger order and be the talk of the party at the next BBQ you attend. Feeling adventurous? Give one of their many other pickled items a try, we promise you will not regret it!
Sauce Man
Get sauced when you stop by this hot vendor at the market, Sauce Man! He’s the local go to guy for sweet, savory, and spicy hot sauces and BBQ sauces that will take any meal up a notch! Some of the sauces available for purchase are his and others are from local suppliers. Make sure to check out the orange pop up sign too, it always has a saucy deal for you to take advantage of!
Tabernacle of Spices
Spice up your pantry! You’ll find everyday spices as well as some special mixtures when you swing by the Tabernacle of Spices vendor booth. These spices are great for adding flavor to meats and vegetables as well as in dips and anything else you’d like to whip up.
Fresh Flowers
We love the fresh flower vendors at the market. They make it easy to add a pop of color to any room in your home or grab one for the office. They sell them in pots or on their own so you can plant them in your own pot. The orchids are always blooming and come in a variety of colors.
Simply Savory
The name says it all, Simply Savory is just that, super simple and oh so savory. Simply Savory is always a crowd favorite. They are a local gourmet spice shop covering all the spice bases, dip mixes, rubs, seasonings, and desert mixes! With over 30 dip mixes alone, there’s literally a flavor for everyone. The spices and rubs will turn any recipe up a notch and the dessert mixes will satisfy any sweet tooth. Not only are the dip mixes flavorful, they are so simple to use. Pick your base like sour cream for instance, add the mix in, stir, chill, and then… enjoy!
